The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) took decisive action on Monday by issuing notices to the owner of the illegal housing scheme, ‘World RCCI City,’ for allegedly misleading the public. A demolition order has been issued by the civic authority, and the scheme’s owner will face a first information report (FIR) in response to these violations.
RDA Director General Saif Anwar Jappa directed the Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) directorate to take action against illegal advertisements and marketing of other unauthorized housing schemes.

Sponsors have been sternly warned to cease the marketing of unapproved or illegal housing schemes. Additionally, the public is strongly advised to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of housing schemes by checking with the RDA or visiting its official website before making any investments.
