ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) has joined forces with Finland’s Metso Corporation to revolutionize Pakistan’s mineral sector. The collaboration, facilitated by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), was announced during the Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum 2025.
The partnership aims to enhance exploration and processing capabilities in Pakistan’s mining industry by introducing international-standard technology and expertise. PPL and Metso will conduct joint feasibility studies and strategic planning for key projects, focusing on improving the mineral value chain, attracting investments, and creating local job opportunities.
This initiative marks a significant step toward the sustainable utilization of Pakistan’s mineral resources, paving the way for economic growth and global competitiveness.
