New Blue Area Islamabad is developed on the area of 170 Kanals. Nearly 16 plots were offered at the time of auction. CDA has allowed the building of residential apartments, commercial buildings, corporate buildings, food arena, refueling stations, shops, and areas. The developers are allowed to leave 30% land open parking are in case of area more than 1000 square yards.
Reason to develop New Blue Area Islamabad
This project was approved and launched by former Prime Minister Imran Khan. It was introduced to meet the commercial needs of Islamabad. As we already know, the old Blue Area is a commercial hub of Islamabad and it was getting congested due to excessive development and got a bit polluted due to air pollution, land pollution and heavy traffic.
So, under the surveillance of CDA, New Blue Area was introduced and the total 26 commercial plots were offered for auction.
