In response to the directives of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) chairman, a large-scale anti-encroachment operation unfolded in Mohalla Thatti adjacent to Bari Imam in Islamabad. The Enforcement Directorate, in collaboration with Islamabad Police and other relevant departments, spearheaded the initiative to eradicate illegal settlements on government land.

During the operation, 305 rooms, 55 four walls, 55 doors, 90 kitchens, 170 bathrooms, and 24 cattle fences were razed to the ground using heavy machinery. The concerted effort successfully thwarted attempts to seize government land, sending a clear message against illegal population establishments.
The Director of Enforcement oversaw the operation, leveraging the support of the MPO department’s heavy machinery to ensure the swift and effective demolition of unauthorized structures.
