A diverse group of protesters from various backgrounds, including journalists, gathered outside the National Press Club in Islamabad to express their concern and solidarity with the Palestinian people. Uniting for a Cause

The protest, organized by the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), the National Press Club, CDA Mazdoor Union (CBA), Pakistan Sweet Home, and the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, brought together individuals from different walks of life who shared a common concern for the ongoing crisis in Palestine.

Prominent figures from the political, journalistic, and labor sectors were present, including Senate Standing Committee on Defence Chairman Mushahid Hussain Syed, Senator Javed Abbasi, patron-in-chief of Pakistan Sweet Home Zamurrad Khan, PFUJ President Afzal Butt, Pakistan Workers Federation General Secretary Chaudhry Mohammad Yasin, National Press Club President Anwar Raza, Khubaib Foundation Chairman Nadeem Ahmed Khan, ICCI President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, Zafar Bakhtawari, Khalid Chaudhry, Ajmal Baloch, Yasir Butt, and leaders representing various labor organizations and journalists.

A Call for Ceasefire and Solidarity

The demonstrators voiced their profound concern about the ongoing atrocities being committed against innocent Palestinians. They stressed the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire to end the violence and suffering in the region. The protesters emphasized that the entire Muslim Ummah stood in solidarity with the Palestinian people during this challenging period.

In addition to demanding a ceasefire, the protesters also strongly condemned the killing of 31 journalists who lost their lives while covering the conflict in the region.
