The RDA spokesperson condemned these housing schemes for fraudulent practices, alleging that they are deceitfully selling plots without the necessary approvals. Officials have been instructed to take immediate action against illegal advertisements and marketing activities and to pursue legal avenues against the owners.

Highlighting the seriousness of the issue, the spokesperson emphasized that sponsors of unauthorized housing schemes must cease all marketing efforts immediately and seek proper approval from the RDA to avoid legal consequences. Failure to comply will result in stringent legal action, as per the law.

Under the leadership of RDA director-general Kinza Murtaza, citizens have been cautioned against investing in such illegal ventures. The public is urged to verify the status of housing schemes through the RDA’s official channels before making any investments, underscoring the importance of due diligence.
