Glass Train Project Between Rawalpindi and Murree Approved to Boost Tourism

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved a tourist glass train project between Rawalpindi and Murree to boost tourism. The decision, made during a meeting in Murree, includes engaging international consultants for the project.

Additional initiatives include the beautification of Murree, removal of obstructive high-rise hotels along Mall Road, and the restoration of historic buildings around GPO Chowk. The old Rawalpindi-Murree-Kashmir Road will also be expanded.
