A spokesman for the RDA stated that the operation was part of a broader initiative to combat encroachments, unauthorized constructions, and commercial activities in residential areas. The Land Use & Building Control (LU&BC) Wing has been instructed to enforce strict measures without discrimination.

The RDA has urged citizens to voluntarily remove encroachments to avoid facing legal action. This operation underscores the RDA’s commitment to maintaining urban order and ensuring compliance with building regulations.
