CDA Launches Fast-Track Service for Speedy Building Plan Approvals

The Building Control Directorate of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has introduced a state-of-the-art fast-track service by revolutionizing the system for providing amenities to the citizens. The new system aims to streamline the process of building plan approvals, providing a swift and efficient service to residents and businesses alike.

Commencing on Monday, the CDA has initiated the approval of building plans in the facilitation center on the fast track. Under this modernized and expedited system, residential buildings of 356 yards or less will now receive approval within just 2 days, accompanied by an additional fee of 20,000 thousand, along with the required documents. For residential buildings larger than 356 yards, a similar approval process will take place within a mere 2 days, with an associated fee of 30,000 thousand.

Furthermore, commercial buildings spanning up to 10,000 square yards will also benefit from the fast-track service, securing approvals within an impressive timeframe of 3 days. To facilitate this process, a dedicated desk has been established for all building approval matters. Notably, citizens visiting the facilitation center will no longer need to stand in separate lines, ensuring a more efficient and organized experience.

A comfortable environment has been arranged for citizens who visit the center, eliminating the need for long waits and ensuring a smooth process. Upon receiving a token, citizens utilizing the fast-track service can proceed to the relevant desk based on their assigned number, expediting the processing of their case.

This innovative fast-track service not only saves citizens valuable time but also represents the first of its kind across the country. The success of this facility is expected to lead to its expansion across other desks in the future. With this modernization initiative, the CDA is not only setting a new standard for efficiency but also demonstrating a commitment to enhancing the overall experience for citizens engaging with building approval services.
