ISLAMABAD – The federal government has finalized Sector H-16 in Islamabad as the location for the Daanish University of Emerging Technologies. Spread across a 102.5-acre site, the university is a part of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s vision to expand access to quality education for underprivileged students.
The institution will be funded using £190 million recovered by the National Crime Agency (NCA) in the UK, now allocated to the federal government. This initiative builds on the Daanish School Project, extending its mission into higher education with a specialized focus on emerging technologies.
Equipped with modern academic facilities, cutting-edge research centers, and an international-standard curriculum, the Daanish University aims to empower students by offering free, high-quality education. By providing opportunities in the fields of technology and innovation, the university seeks to become a leading institution for academic excellence in Pakistan.
