ISLAMABAD – The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has sealed 30 illegally constructed buildings in a private housing society as part of an ongoing crackdown on unauthorized developments in the federal capital.
The operation, conducted in collaboration with the Islamabad administration and police, follows directives from Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who ordered a comprehensive action against illegal housing societies and unapproved constructions.
The CDA targeted structures built without No Objection Certificates (NOCs), violating the Islamabad Capital Territory Building Control Regulations 2020. Officials have also issued warnings to other housing societies found in violation of building bylaws.
To assist citizens in making informed property investments, the CDA has published a list of approved and illegal housing schemes on its official website. The authority has confirmed that further operations will continue across different zones to curb unauthorized constructions and uphold the city’s master plan.
