CDA and CGA Partner to Enhance Financial Transparency

ISLAMABAD – The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) to modernize and digitize its financial management system.

The agreement, announced during a meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, aims to implement SAP, a globally recognized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform. This system will streamline budgeting, accounting, payroll, procurement, and asset tracking, ensuring real-time data processing and centralized reporting.

The phased implementation includes system design, staff training, and a full operational rollout. A digital financial dashboard will also be introduced to monitor financial performance and enhance transparency. Timely audits will address irregularities, further strengthening internal controls.

Chairman Randhawa emphasized that this initiative aligns with CDA’s vision to improve efficiency, stability, and public service delivery through advanced technology.
